Requirements
Prepare your current and previous visa grant letters, expiry information, any refusal or cancellation notices, skills assessment, English results and employment or study record. Compare the requirements of a graduate, skilled or employer-sponsored route against those documents. Obtain individual advice promptly if your visa is close to expiry or a restriction may apply.
Common issues
Waiting for an invitation does not protect your current stay. Visa conditions can affect work and study while a pathway is being prepared. VEVO shows the visa currently in effect; a future bridging visa may need to be checked in its grant letter. Confirm the bridging visa grant, conditions and travel facility rather than assuming they follow from lodging paperwork.
