Engineers Australia assesses engineering qualifications and competency for migration. Your first task is to identify the assessment route for your actual qualification and intended engineering occupation; preparing a CDR is only one of those routes.

Requirements

Check the program, accreditation period and occupational category before choosing a pathway. The application checklist also covers identity, academic records, CV and English evidence or an applicable exemption. Use the migration checklist for the selected service rather than a membership or registration checklist.

Process

Identify the qualification route and the occupation you intend to nominate.
Check whether employment or overseas PhD assessment is also needed for your purpose.
If a CDR is required, write your own episodes and Summary Statement using the relevant category documents.

Evidence

Keep degree certificates, complete transcripts and project records available. Employment-based Career Episodes require employer reference evidence. A separately requested employment assessment requires its own documentary support.

Common issues

Career Episodes and the Summary Statement must be your own work. This website does not supply CDR ghostwriting. Engineers Australia’s assessment outcome does not award visa points; the relevant migration requirements must also be met.
