Requirements
Engineers Australia offers Australian qualification, Washington Accord, Sydney Accord and Dublin Accord pathways for eligible qualifications. Accreditation is attached to a program. Check campus and award details, and retain the entry that covers your intake, commencement or graduation period as applicable.

- Find the exact award and program in the relevant official accreditation search.
- Check full recognition and the dates that apply to your study.
- Compare the occupation you want with the accredited qualification outcome.
- If recognition or the occupation match is unclear, resolve the route before drafting or paying.
Evidence
Useful preparation includes the testamur, full transcript and the applicable accreditation record. Even an accredited route requires an application and the documents in its own checklist.
Common issues
Avoid assuming the accredited route guarantees a faster outcome. Non-accredited Australian advanced diplomas and associate degrees also need careful checking: the general Australian qualification route changed in September 2024. Any Civil Engineering Draftsperson interim arrangement is narrow and should not be applied to other occupations.
