Queensland state nomination
Queensland nomination has a state Registration of Interest as well as the federal SkillSelect EOI. Applicants need to identify the correct onshore, offshore or other published pathway before checking occupation, work and settlement requirements.

Requirements
Choose the stream that matches where you live and your work or study background. Queensland publishes different pathways for residents, offshore workers, construction workers and university graduates. Check the current stream and occupation list when a new intake is announced; prepare evidence of qualifications, employment and any regional location claimed.
Common issues
A published pathway page is not evidence that a new intake has opened. Previous-year residence, salary, work-duration or business requirements must be checked against the new program announcement. A SkillSelect EOI alone does not complete Queensland’s separate ROI process or guarantee selection.
