Victoria state nomination
Victoria uses a Registration of Interest to select candidates for Subclass 190 and 491 nomination. Its October 2026 update publishes state fees and a Victorian Points Test, so applicants should review how their EOI and ROI information will be ranked.

Who this is relevant to
For candidates considering Victoria who can meet federal visa requirements and the Victorian nomination requirements published for the relevant intake.
Requirements
Prepare accurate EOI and ROI information about age, English, experience, qualifications, occupation skill level, partner skills and eligible Victorian earnings where applicable. Check the current eligibility pages and fees at opening before lodging or paying.
Common issues
The Victorian Points Test serves state selection and has no fixed pass mark. Federal SkillSelect points remain a separate visa requirement. Higher state ranking or payment of a fee does not guarantee an invitation or nomination. Publishing fees and ranking information does not itself announce that ROIs have opened.
